Our Vision
To become a public nexus for hardware and hard tech innovation and manufacturing.
MiMake is more than just a makerspace—we're building a transformative community hub that bridges the gap between ideas and reality. Located in the heart of Mississauga, we serve the broader Peel Region, Oakville, and Etobicoke, providing unprecedented access to industrial-grade manufacturing capabilities.
Our mission is to foster a vibrant ecosystem where residents, local businesses, startups, and hobbyists can access advanced tools and resources at affordable rates. We believe that innovation shouldn't be limited by access to expensive equipment or isolated workshops.
With over 50 community members already engaged and our journey toward non-profit registration underway, we're creating a sustainable model that prioritizes community impact over profit. Our planned 2,500-4,000 square foot facility will house state-of-the-art equipment typically found only in large manufacturing facilities, making it accessible to SMEs, startups, and individual makers who need professional-grade capabilities.
