About MiMake Monday

MiMake Monday is a weekly gathering hosted by the Mississauga Industrial Makerspace. It provides a consistent time and place for members and guests to build, learn, share progress, and connect with others interested in technology, fabrication, and applied innovation.

MiMake is a community-driven initiative working toward the establishment of a permanent industrial makerspace in Mississauga. The objective is to create a professionally equipped facility that supports advanced manufacturing, prototyping, trades, technical education, and small-scale production. The long-term vision is a dedicated space where hobbyists, entrepreneurs, students, skilled tradespeople, and industry professionals can access tools, develop skills, and collaborate on real-world projects.

MiMake Mondays serve as a foundational step toward that goal. These gatherings allow the community to grow, demonstrate demand, and build the organizational capacity required to secure a permanent location. Participation fees and workshop revenue help offset operating costs and contribute to future facility development. Equally important, MiMake Monday builds the network of members, supporters, and partners necessary to sustain a long-term makerspace.
